EVE Ltd Tuiscint
The EVE Ltd Tuiscint service offers two programmes, a rehabilitative training programme and a day service. Both programmes aim to facilitate adults who experience Asperger's Syndrome in the Dublin region, to make a successful transition from dependency to managing their lives more effectively.
"Tuiscint" is the Irish word for understanding. We strive to provide a high staff student ratio in order to facilitate the individual needs of the participants of both programmes. These programmes are person centred and we endeavour to provide a supportive environment which allows each individual to develop and learn. Emphasis is on social skills acquisition, goal setting and developing coping strategies to assist with community integration. The centre also serves as a congenial place for participants to meet with their peers.
